Good Ground

Scripture
“Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted” (Matthew 13:8).

Application

There are many kinds of seeds we can sow, but do you know what produces the best crop? The seed of God's Word planted on the soil of our hearts. The more of the Word you take into your heart, the more abundant harvest it will produce. Our job, as believers, is to make sure we are good ground.

The scripture tells us there are things that can choke the seed of the Word out of our hearts. The cares of this world, greed and selfishness act as thorns that stop the seed from growing. It also tells us that in order for the seed to take root, we need to stand strong during the difficult times when persecution and challenges come.

If you have hard or dry places in your heart today, God wants to soften those areas. He promises in Ezekiel that He will take out the stony, hard heart, and He will replace it with a new heart, a heart that is open to Him. And when you have an open and receptive heart, you are good ground! The seed of the Word will take root and grow, and it will produce an abundant harvest of blessing in every area of your life!

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the seed of the Word which is alive and growing in my heart. Search my heart and mind today. Have Your way in me. Use me for Your glory alone. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

He’s Working on Your Behalf

Scripture

“We know that God will work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).



Application
God is working behind the scenes in your life, today. No matter what you may be facing, no matter what trial you may be going through, God has a plan to turn things around in your favor. Right now, He is working out a plan for your good. Right now, He is orchestrating the right people to come across your path. He is orchestrating the right opportunities to open up to you. You may not see it in the natural, but look with your eyes of faith today.

Keep standing. Keep believing. Keep hoping. Keep following His Word. Focus on His goodness in your life, knowing that He rewards the people who seek after Him. As you meditate on the faithfulness of God and show your love for Him by following His Word, you will see His plan come to pass. You’ll experience His peace and joy. and you will live in victory all the days of your life

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. I trust that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. Give me Your strength and peace today and fill me with Your faith to overcome. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Seek to Do Good

Scripture
“See that none of you repays another with evil for evil, but always aim to show kindness and seek to do good to one another and to everybody” (I Thessalonians 5:15).

Application

In Galatians chapter five, the Bible talks about nine specific fruits of the Spirit. These are spiritual qualities that manifest in our lives when we allow Him to work in us. The more we invite God to move in our hearts and follow His Word, the more those attributes will be displayed through us. Kindness and goodness are two of those qualities. The Bible tells us that His kindness leads people to repentance. Kindness advances the kingdom of God. The more kindness and goodness we show other people, the more we are acting like God.

The Bible tells us that what we sow, we shall reap. When we seek to do good for others, we will reap goodness in our own lives in return. I encourage you today to look for ways to show kindness and goodness to the people around you even when they aren’t kind to you. Don’t repay evil for evil. Take the high road. Bless those who wrongfully use you. Seek to do good, show kindness, and you will see it come back as blessings in your own life in return!

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for displaying Your character through me. I choose kindness and goodness so that I can honor You with my thoughts, words, and actions. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

His Grace is Enough

Scripture

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (II Corinthians 12:9).

Application

Grace is God’s unmerited favor. It’s kindness from Him that we don’t deserve. Grace empowers us and strengthens us. No matter what has happened in your past, you can receive God’s grace and forgiveness and start fresh today. You can hold your head up high because His grace is enough. You may not be perfect, but you are forgiven.

When you go around holding on to your past mistakes or think you have to try to make things up to God, it’s like saying that His grace isn’t enough. Jesus has already paid for your mistakes. All you have to do is receive His grace today and thank Him for His favor and empowerment in your life. In the same way, extend that grace to others. Don’t try to punish people for their past mistakes; instead, give them favor to start over. As you allow God’s grace to flow through you, you will be strengthened and empowered. You’ll see yourself rise higher, and you will enjoy God’s blessing in every area of your life.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and grace today. I receive Your strength and favor in my life. Help me to extend that grace to others. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DONT FORGET THE LORDS TEACHINGS
KEEP THE LORDS COMMANDS

If you are able to master these two truths then you will have a long and prosperous life.
We are to remember the Lords teachingsYou cannot remember that which you have not been taught.
So the question is are you being taught? Or are you getting alot of charisma and no teaching?
A teacher affects eternity and they cannot be able to tell the impact of their teaching.
Think of Jesus Christ and his teachings
Think of others like Mahatma Gandhi , or Bob marley
These people impacted eternity with their teachings and philosophy

Gods commands produce order in our lives. Is you life orderly this morning?
Are you keeping Gods commands? Do you even know Gods commands?
The heart is where we embrace values.
Are you a quantity kind of person or a quality kind of person?
What you value you treasure
What you treasure you keep
What you keep impacts your life
I am a product of the teachings i have embraced

Are we taking the Lords commands lightly? Gods commands have to do with our day to day character living
Gods promises are build upon His commandmends and only when you keep His commandmends can you fully lay claim to His promises
Do you know Gods commandmends? Because you cannot keep them if you do not know them
MAKE IT A PRIORITY TODAY!

TESTING TESTING ONE ...TWO....

Genesis 22
Abraham Tested
1 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, "Abraham!"
"Here I am," he replied.
2 Then God said, "Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about."


Abraham had been given the promise of a son and descendants as many as the stars in the sky. He had faithfully held on to this God given promise for a long time. Now that he had a son, God was asking him to sacrifice this son, the only son he had.
Every promise has a test. When God gives you a promise, you can rest assured that He will test you. The good thing is that when God tests you, He never asks for anything that He has not given you.
He did not ask Abraham to sacrifice two sons or a daughter. He asked for a son because He had given Abraham a son.
God will always ask you for that which He has already laid in your possession
Why do we fail tests and why are we afraid or tests?
Why do we forget that which we have been taught?
We forget because:
We get distracted
We become afraid
We become successful
We get discouraged
Lack of being tested

Atest is designed to help you remember. You will rarely be tested on that which you have not been taught
Every great man and woman of God you know of has been tested. We get our testimonies through the tests we go through

For you to move up in your personal life you have to be tested on what you have been taught. So don’t fear and don’t be distracted. A test simply helps you locate your bearing in relation to what you have been taught

Just because you fail one test does not make you a failure. You can always retake the test.

Abraham became inpatient and had Ishmael
David slept with another mans wife and had the man killed
Samson became entangled with Delilah and ended up bald and blind
Peter denied Jesus 3 times
Saul who was later Paul was a murderer killing Christians

But all these men retook the test and passed with heavenly colors.
Now if they could, so can you
Take courage and don’t fear the Lord is with you
